Immediately following the conclusion of the mens and womens football tournament in August 2023 organised by the Hamaden Union. The company has cooperated with the Board of Directors to select the best players into 2 teams of men and women (20 players each) to participate in the football tournament of Thang Long II industrial park.This is an annual tournament to create a healthy playground for officials and employees of companies in the industrial park after working hours.
The tournament gathering 39 mens and 9 womens teams will take place 5/9~20/10/2023.With the sports movement always achieving high achievements in the industrial park, HDVN mens and womens football teams are considered the top contenders for the championship.
Group stage:
*The HDVN Mens team is the highest rated in Group H as the opponents have all been defeated in previous eners. And the fact proved when our team always won control of the ball for most of the game, causing the opponent to choose an extremely uncomfortable bus play. Results of the group stage matches:
-HDVN 0-1 Nikkiso
-HDVN 1-0 Mitec
-HDVN 4-0 Crystal
With this result, HDVN finished second in Group H and will meet Mitsuba in the round of 1/16.
*HDVN Womens Team is a collection of girls who not only successfully completed their professional work but also excelled in the companys sports and artistic movements when they won many awards (Ekiden race, trade art...)
With a beautiful all-out attacking style, the womens team won all 3 matches to occupy the top spot in Group B women, thereby advancing to the semifinals.
In order to achieve such results, in addition to the efforts of the players, it is necessary to mention the enthusiastic supporters who always support the team with the attention and support of the companys management, the Board of Directors, the and the GA team have prepared the best equipment for the team training sessions to official matches.
Playoffs:
*The opponent of HDVN Mens team in the round of 1/16 is the first team of Group A-Mitsuba with a winning record with a difference of +24 and not conceding any goals, this is the next challenge that we have to overcome. And despite the expectations of the mens team fans, they successfully decoded the Mitsuba phenomenon with a spectacular comeback with a 2-1 aggregate victory, redefining 24-1=0.
Entering the round of 1/8, experts considered this to be an early final when our opponent is the defending champion ToTo.The match attracted thousands of fans to the stadium, the two teams contributed beautiful and technical balls with double play. But luck wasnt on our side as the ball kept finding the crossbar and post, and the opponent took advantage of the opportunity to end the game. The result of HDVN mens team stopped in the round of 8 strongest teams, it is not the end but the beginning of a new generation of HDVN that promises to explode and go deeper next year.
*The HDVN Womens team advanced to the semifinals against Kyocera, and like the past matches, our opponents focused on defending against HDVNs all-out attacking play.But the opponent was more fortunate to get a goal in a set piece and keep the result until the end of the match. In the end, HDVN won 3rd place and reached the top four best teams of the tournament.
So our tournament ended with the achievement of reaching the top 8 teams of the mens team and the top 4 best teams of the womens team! With a spirit of enthusiasm, nobility, honesty and fairplay. We have had uplifting moments with football mixed with tears and regrets. But above all, the tournament has given us a new experience, a healthy and rewarding playground after work, and exchanged and learned a lot of experiences.Thank you to our players, thank you to the fans for their support.
