NewStar Team Shines at the 21st Asia QCC Convention in India
The 21st QCC Convention of DENSO Group, held in India, concluded with impressive highlights and unforgettable emotions for all participating teams. This year, the QCC Convention gathered 13 teams various group companies, all bringing outstanding quality improvement initiatives that strongly embodied the spirit of continuous Kaizen.
Notably, the NOVA (NewStar) team representing the VSV line excellently won the 2nd Runner-up award — a remarkable achievement that affirms the team’s relentless efforts as well as HDVN’s presence on the international stage.
Right the opening morning session, the atmosphere in the hall became vibrant as teams presented their quality improvement activities one after another. Each team showcased its own unique approach — production optimization, productivity enhancement, and defect reduction, to innovative ideas aimed at improving overall efficiency.
In the single yet highly pressured competition day, NOVA (NewStar) demonstrated confidence, determination, and professionalism through a clear, coherent, and practical presentation. The team substantiated their improvements at the VSV line with convincing data, scientific methods, and evident results.
Their team spirit, thorough preparation, and flexible Q&A responses helped NOVA win over the judging panel and leave a strong impression on delegates other group companies.
The 21st QCC Convention was hosted by DNKI (DENSO Kirloskar Industries) in India. Beyond taking on the role of host, DNKI made a special impression with their meticulous, organized, and heartfelt preparation for the event.
