RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PREVENTING SEASONAL FLU

Currently, we are in the transitional period between seasons, with unpredictable weather changes creating favorable conditions for respiratory viruses to spread, especially seasonal flu (including influenza A). The symptoms of seasonal flu are often similar to other respiratory illnesses, so detection and treatment must follow the guidance of health authorities.

To protect the health of yourself, your family, and everyone in the company, employees are advised to proactively follow these 5 recommendations:

When experiencing unusual symptoms

If you have a cough, fever, headache, fatigue, runny nose, or sore throat:

✅ Do not self-medicate or treat yourself at home.
✅ Visit a medical facility for proper examination and treatment.
Self-medicating can lead to complications or spread the illness to others.

Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing

✅ Use a cloth, tissue, or your sleeve to cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
✅ Dispose of used tissues in a trash bin immediately after use.
Covering your mouth and nose helps limit the spread of respiratory secretions and reduces the risk of infecting others.

Wear a mask and practice proper hand hygiene

✅ Wear a mask when going outside or in public places.
✅ Wash your hands with soap and clean water or use hand sanitizer (especially after coughing or sneezing).
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth without washing your hands to prevent infection.

Limit contact with sick individuals

✅ Avoid close contact with people who have the flu or suspected cases unless absolutely necessary.
✅ Maintain a safe distance to reduce the risk of transmission.

Maintain a healthy lifestyle

✅ Engage in regular physical activity, eat a balanced diet, and get adequate rest.
✅ Strengthen your immune system for effective disease prevention.
